WHAT IS A RESIDENCY IN A CHURCH SETTING?

Core Program Components

PROGRAM DETAILS

Compensation: Residents are provided a monthly stipend.

Housing: Housing is not guaranteed, but when needed Columbia assists residents with finding low cost living arrangements in the area. 

Start Date: Residents start in January or June. Interns start in June.

Commitment: The residency is a 15-20 hour per week, 2-year commitment. The end date is flexible during the second year to best transition each resident to their next ministry step.  The last several months of the residency are focused on determining the right next step for each resident, including resume-building, job-searching, and networking with the support of the Columbia team.



Internships are 20-40 hours per week during the summer months. 

Application Deadline: January cohort applications are due October 31. June cohort applications are due March 31.
