Columbia Institute of Fine Arts  - Music, Voice & Dance

The Columbia Institute of Fine Arts, located in Falls Church, VA, opened its doors in September of 1993 as a ministry of Columbia Baptist Church.  CIFA is a program of arts education in which students receive private lessons and classroom instruction in music, dance and art from highly qualified instructors. Students have opportunities to join ensembles, and to perform through recitals at the church and other opportunities at outside venues.  The school operates under the Worship, Music and Arts Ministry of Columbia Baptist Church and in keeping with the philosophy and purpose statement of the church.  All lessons and classes take place within the safe, caring environment of Columbia Church.

Teach Me Music - Columbia Child Development Center Preschool Program

Teach Me Music is a new and exciting music program for preschool children.This class is taught by our CDC music teacher and CIFA instructor, Jeanette King.  The primary purpose of this program is to foster a love for music at an early age by allowing students to explore Rhythm, Musical Notes, Singing, Instruments and Creative Movement.

Classes begin on March 2nd and run through May 18th for a total of 11 group classes.

Monday: 2:15pm - 3:00pm  and  3:15pm - 4:00pm

Tuesday: 1:15pm -2:00pm and   2:15pm - 3:00pm

Cost: $220 for 11 classes

No classes held the week of April 6 - 12 due to Spring Break.
