Troop 1332, Junior Girl Scouts from Congressional Schools of Virginia:

On October 3, Troop 1332 visited the food pantry to bring food they had collected and helped stock the shelves with their donations and food purchased from the Capital Area Food Bank.

Troop 887, 3rd Grade Brownie Girl Scouts from Congressional Schools of Virginia:

In recognition of World Food Day October 16, Troop 887 sponsored a food drive, publicizing the event through posters to encourage donations. Other troops helped support and organize the effort, including Troops 342 (Kindergarten & 1st Grade Daisies), 5136 (2nd Grade Brownies) and 1332 (Juniors).   Congressional supported the effort by publicizing the event through announcements and allowing the troops to place donation boxes in the reception areas of each school building.
