A lovely woman who has been a pantry client for several years, and is much loved by our volunteers, recently expressed interest in serving as a pantry volunteer. She’s been working with us for about a month now. She is a hard worker and very welcoming towards volunteers and clients alike. The exciting part is that her motivation is to learn everything she can about running a food pantry, so she can start a similar ministry in her church!

Two church families recently donated freezers, in great condition, for use in the food pantry. Another church family donated a beautiful refrigerator. They will be waiting for us when the pantry moves to the Crossroads campus - not sure yet when that will be, so stay tuned! We are so excited! This will allow us to stock much more fresh and frozen food, to delight our clients.
