The Family Life Ministry strives to equip ALL families to ignite passion for Jesus Christ from Metro Washington to the World!
Our goal is to develop strong, healthy, joy-filled families through a church-home partnership that establishes the home as the primary place where faith is nurtured and restores the family as the community witness it is called to be." ~~based on Deuteronomy 6:4-9 |

Preschool
Nursery—K’s Preschoolers are always learning! So there is no better time to introduce our littlest ones to our loving God. Through play, exploration, art, drama, games, and Bible Stories, our preschoolers will be introduced to a God who loves them by caring teachers who partner with parents to nurture their first steps toward faith. |

Grade School
Grades 1 - 4 Just like the foundation of your home, the spiritual foundation that is laid in the hearts of children is critical to everything that follows. The spiritual foundations we lay help to shape who they will be for the rest of their lives. In Children’s Ministry, we seek to ignite, in young hearts, a faith that will grow by offering exciting, fun-filled weekly programs, special events and camps that ultimately lead to a faith that informs and transforms the lives of children. |

Preteen
Grades 5 - 6 The transition between Grade School and Student Ministries is a crucial time in the life of a preteen. At Columbia, our strong adult mentors challenge preteens and help them develop leadership skills while encouraging a deeper personal commitment to Christ. There are many activities for preteens throughout the year including fun outings, camps, VBS and service opportunities. |

Student Ministries
Grades 7 - 12 Jr. High and High School are formative years when students seek social connections, ask lots of questions, and begin to own their own faith. Columbia offers a place for students to feel comfortable to explore Christianity and what it means in their own lives. Programs are often divided by age group to address various stages of social development. However, all grades have the opportunity throughout the year to participate in Bible studies, worship leadership, small groups, events, camps and service and missions projects. |

College & Career Ministry
Learning how to be out on your own is a busy time for young adults, and it's hard to find a place to belong. Columbia's college and career ministry is a place to connect with others, to study and discuss God's word, and to use gifts and talents to serve the community at large. This ministry is for both young adults living in the Falls Church area and those who are away at school and returning for breaks. |
