The Columbia Way Course

The adage “look before you leap” reminds us that people prefer to have some sense of what they are getting into before they make a commitment.  We understand that people would want to know a little bit about Columbia as they start attending or when they join the church.  That is why we offer The Columbia Way course.

The Columbia Way is a six-week course, taught by Dr. Baucom and other ministerial staff, providing an understanding of the basics of the Christian faith, our Baptist distinctives, Columbia’s Statement of Faith, Core Values, structure and history.  The sessions also include the two-week study "Finding My Ministry" that focuses on God’s design for ministry, helps people identify their spiritual gifts, and helps them connect to Columbia through ministry.
