History

http://www.columbiabaptist.org/uploads/001_web.jpgIn the Spring of 1969, under the leadership of Rev./Dr. Neal T. Jones, Sr. Pastor of Columbia, the congregation of Columbia began to pursue a new Day Care program. This program initiative was to minister to the growing number of preschool families in both the church and community. On July 9, 1969, the congregation voted to approve this new ministry venture and the Child Development Center opened its doors for the first time on October 13, 1969.

From inception of the program over 40 years ago, Columbia’s Child Development Center (CDC) has pursued excellence in providing families with the best program and teachers available in the area, held in the very best physical facilities possible as an integral part of the total ministry of Columbia. The Child Development Center (CDC) continues to be one of the many ministry programs provided by Columbia Baptist Church to the community at large. Our purpose today remains the same as when we first began the Center.

We exist to provide you and your family with a warm welcome into a state-of-art facility with a highly trained, loving and caring teaching staff.
