Then join Leland Seminary President Mark Olson as we study N. T. Wright’s recent study, The Case for the Psalms: Why They are Essential. Copies of the book may be purchased for $10 at the study.

Digging Deeper:Culture Making.
Led by Rev. Eric ReiserAlicia Hoefke and Rob Stewart, Room 301

Watching the daily news can make us wonder if the American social fabric is being torn apart.  As Christians we are called to not simply respond by criticizing, coping or consuming the broader culture; we are called to be creative culture makers in everything we do.  Join us as we read and discuss the award-willing book which inspires us live into the calling of bringing about the world God intended us to have.

Men’s Bible study: Every Good Endeavor by Timothy Keller
Led by Dr. Jim Baucom, Room 209
Join Dr. Baucom and the men of Columbia as they explore how the Christian view of work—that we work to serve others and not ourselves—can provide the foundation of a thriving professional and balanced personal life. Keller shows how excellence, integrity, discipline, creativity, and passion in the workplace can help others and even be considered acts of worship—not just of self-interest.

Joyful Sisters Women's IG: Stepping Up by Beth Moore
Led by Jan Brinson, Room 127
Come and join the Joyful Sisters as we begin our walk with Beth Moore in "Stepping Up: A Journey Through the Psalms of Ascent".  What better way to begin the fall than by studying themes that touch on unity, joy, gratitude, redemption, the power of blessings, facing ridicule, and many other challenges we face in life.  As believers in Jesus Christ we stand to learn a lot from these Psalms as we grow toward a greater intimacy with God.  Look forward to seeing you!!
