What does the Parent Partners Team do?
The Parent Partners gather in August but welcome volunteers all year long and from all programs. We are looking for parents of younger children to jump in to assist this upcoming school year and lead the following. The team currently consists of the following positions:
- Room Parent Coordinator
- Volunteer Coordinator
- Class Fund and Teacher Appreciation Days Coordinator
- Parent Partner Lunch Coordinator
- Communication Coordinator
- Full Day Program Representative
- Morning Program Representative
- Bilingual Program Representative
Members of the Parent Partner team are encouraged to volunteer, attend special events and be a resource for parents, teachers, and directors. Parent Partners meet three times a year - typically right after drop-off for no more than 30-45 minutes. Most of the work is done via email and many of the communications are already written and just need to be updated and distribute. this is a great way to get more involved in the life of the CDC!
